We have some major changes going on at alchemedium, and we have a small recap from our experience at the Pittsburgh Gallery Crawl from this past week.
Pittsburgh Gallery Crawl
The Pittsburgh Gallery Crawl turned out to be another amazing event that we at alchemedium had the opportunity to participate in!
The game development community in Pittsburgh, PIGDA, and Michael Lee all played an awesome part in making the attendees (as well as the other devs and our team) experience an amazing one!
The attendees got to see the creativity of the Pittsburgh game development scene, and we got to meet a bunch of new developers and people in general 😀
And not a mundane detail – the Game Works event during the Gallery Crawl brought in over 700 people! We are so happy to be involved in this great event! We learned a lot from the people who played the game, and have a very clear path to the future release of the game now!
A New Journey
Our biggest news from this week involves not only A Tofu Tail, but alchemedium itself. One of our founding members has some news, and it is best just to hear straight from him, so here it goes:
It is with a heavy heart that I am announcing that, starting today, I am relieving myself of my duties at alchemedium. An opportunity came up elsewhere and due to the circumstances I can no longer continue working on A Tofu Tail. With that said, this will not affect the completion of the project in any way, and the launch schedule should remain the same. A Tofu Tail has always been in good hands, and I can’t wait to play the final build!
Keep on ploppin’!
We will definitely miss having Ryan around (both personally and professionally), but we are excited for this opportunity that has opened up for him, and wish him the best of luck!
Overall, we expect things to keep on track in this change in Ryan’s involvement; and we still have a bunch of exciting things forthcoming in the next weeks with regards to development and such!
So we all will keep on ploppin’ here to release A Tofu Tail as swiftly and capably as we can! Until next time!
